FAQ
Landing page and getting started questions. Pricing included below.
What is a “compliant landing page”?
A separate, clean domain and page that avoids restricted keywords, images, and metadata. Ads point here first; your main site handles checkout or deeper flows.
Do I need a new domain? What’s a “clean domain”?
Yes. Use a new domain that has not been flagged. We provide naming guidance and metadata so it’s approvable and fast.
What changed with Meta in 2025 (“Andromeda”)?
Meta tightened policy enforcement and shifted optimization behavior. Clean landing pages + clean events are now critical for stable delivery.
What are restriction “levels”? Can a domain be unflagged?
Core Setup scrubs risky URL terms and limits payloads. Higher levels can block purchase/all events. Domains aren’t generally “unflagged,” so use a clean domain.
Should we click “Acknowledge restrictions” in Ads Manager?
It doesn’t change enforcement; it mostly provides Meta legal cover. It’s fine to acknowledge—focus on building a compliant destination.
Do we need to scrub URLs ourselves?
Under Core Setup, Meta scrubs/filter URLs automatically. Your compliant landing page avoids triggering the scrubbing in the first place.
How does “domain masking” work?
Users see your main site; Meta only sees the clean landing domain for events. Our stitching keeps paths and attribution aligned.
Can we keep reviews/social proof on the landing page?
Yes—curate static, compliant quotes. Avoid dynamic feeds that might surface non‑compliant language.
Will a new pixel fix this?
No. New pixels inherit the domain’s risk. Use a clean domain + compliant page; keep the existing pixel where possible.
Can our main site still mention sensitive terms?
Yes. The landing page must stay generic and compliant; your main site can remain as is for transactions and regulated content.
What events do you send from the landing page?
For lead flows, we typically send the final “lead/submit” event—not intermediate steps. For ecommerce, we send compliant server‑side events from the clean domain.
Can we run ads to our main site if we limit data?
Not recommended—flagged domains risk further degradation. Route traffic to a compliant landing page first.
Can we use two pixels in parallel?
We support one pixel per install to maintain consistency and avoid policy risk. Use the clean domain pattern instead.
How long does setup take?
Landing page approval + wiring usually takes about a week once content is ready. The app connection is ~10 minutes.
What does it cost?
$95/month + $2 per $1,000 in processed revenue (0.2%). The first $10,000 processed each month is included. Optional services: $200/hr dev, $300/hr strategy.
